We love a trip on a heritage railway and the Ecclesbourne Valley Railway is the longest ride in the county, and dog-friendly too.

Dogs on leads are welcome in standard accommodation, but not in 1st Class or in the station cafe. Parking Wirksworth Station has a large free car park on site. No height restrictions. DUFFIELD car park at the other end of the line isn't suitable for campervans, etc. Use postcode DE56 4EQ
