I've gone from being an introverted, housebound (through choice) person to this outgoing, outdoorsy person. Because of Herschel! Portland Park dog walk, Nottinghamshire
A lovely woodland walk, short trails or larger walks. Portland Park is situated directly to the south west of Kirkby in Ashfield around a 15 to 20 minute walk from the town centre.
The Trent Lock dog-friendly Country Pub & Restaurant, Nottinghamshire
The pub used to be called The Navigation Inn, it sits right beside the Erewash trail. The pub has a massive outdoor area so you can sit away from people but dogs are also allowed in the pub as well.
Attenborough Nature Reserve on-lead dog walk, Nottinghamshire
A massive nature reserve, established in 1966 and was opened by Sir David Attenborough himself. Known for its massive range of bird life, insects and plants. A very busy attraction.
Newstead and Annesley Country Park, Nottinghamshire
Located in the west of Central Nottinghamshire, Annesley Pit Top is one of the few pit tops that has escaped the generic 'restoration process.
Old Moor Woods dog walk, Nottinghamshire
Owned and managed by the Woodland Trust, this gorgeous woods is a must visit! Located near Strelley Hall, it is massively popular in spring when it's blanketed in English & Spanish bluebells.
