Charnock Richard M6 Services -Northbound only, Lancashire A mown track around a grassy field adjacent to the car park on the northbound side. Takes about 10 minutes to complete a circuit. Picnic table and poo bin at the start.
Tebay services A lovely stopping place while travelling north. A green walk with dogs. There is a slip road to the southbound services too.
M6 Junction 1 nature reserve dog walk, Warwickshire Junction 1 This nature reserve was opened by David Bellamy and it's a fine dog-walk space with clearly marked paths leading through fields, woodland and a disused canal path.

M6 Junction 2 Oxford Canal walk with pub, Warwickshire Junction 2 An easy to manage walk with dogs, very close to the M6 exit.
M6 Junction 3 dog walk and dog-friendly heritage pub, West Midlands Junction 3 A choice of paths here, either along the canal or the river. There's more to see on the canal route, and the path is in good condition.
M6 Junction 4 dog walk and dog-friendly pub, Warwickshire Junction 4 A handy 2-mile (35 mins) circular dog walk on tidy grassland that keeps dogs reasonably clean in all weathers.
M6 Junction 5 or 7 dog walk, Sutton Coldfield, West Midlands Junction 5 This is a former deer park with 2,400 acres of open space - including 7 lakes. The terrain is a mix of heathland, woodlands, wetlands and marshes.
M6 Junction 10 dog walk, West Midlands Junction 10 The paths here meander through a fine mix of woodland, meadow and waterside. The area is evidently a popular spot for local dog walkers, and we didn't see anyone without a dog!
M6 Junction 12 dog walk, Staffordshire Junction 12 This is a lovely place to mooch with the pooch in a nature reserve within a couple of miles of Junction 12 on the M6.
M6 Junction 13 dog walk with refreshments, Staffordshire Junction 13 This is a delightfully rural canal side walk, even though the roar of the traffic on the M6 motorway is never far away.
M6 Junction 15 woodland dog walk, Staffordshire Junction 15 The woodland here is perfect for dogs to really let off steam and thunder through the trees at speed.
