About Driving with Dogs Team
The inspiration for Driving with Dogs was Jem. He came to us from the Border Collie Rescue Trust as a shy puppy from a farm in Ireland. He grew to become a real team member, and was brilliant at spotting paths we'd missed, and pointing out danger spots for other dogs. Jem passed over the Rainbow Bridge in early 2021 at the age of 16.
Effi joined the team in 2020 and was trained by Jem to love the car, and days out exploring new walks. She started her doggie job in 2021 and loves the seaside, life in a campervan and loads of walkies. She's still a youngster and is a terror for footballs on the beach!
The Puppy joined the team in 2023 and is in training. He loves the shorter walks and is also keen on Dog Parkour and chasing seagulls.
Our favourite walks together are mainly in the White Peak area, Cumbria and mid-Wales. We're lucky to explore lots of fabulous places in the UK, and recent discoveries for great walks have been in Kent, Northumberland, Yorkshire and Sussex.
