A gentle stroll to an obelisk celebrating the Duke of Wellington and woodland trails. Perfect for dogs and families. Within easy reach of the M5 Junction 26 - but be aware there are no toilets at the walk.

Walk
Head down the tree-lined avenue rom the car park and this brings you directly to the Wellington Monument, erected after the Battle of Waterloo. Bear right from the grassy obelisk surround and head down into the woods. Bear left at a waymarker close to the bottom of the slope. At a farm gate bear left and uphill. Keep going until you're back at the monument. The woodland path can get muddy after rainfall.

Great place for off lead walks!
Walk through the national trust land up to the memorial, relatively flat and easy to navigate paths.
As you approach the memorial if you take the left hand path there’s additional walking through woodland, this part is not suitable for pushchairs or wheelchairs but it’s a lovely stroll to the monument.
