Valley of the Saints with your dog, France
PremiumDescription
On a vantage point high above the valley, a host of granite figures bear witness. This is a truly unique project, linking modern sculpture with the mysterious prehistoric stones of Carnac and all around the region. As you wander around looking at protective saints cuddling various animals, a scary saint with an axe through her head, practical saints doing the cooking and guarding sheep, it's hard not to wonder what visitors thousands of years hence will make of it. The skill on show is impressive and you can also watch new sculptures in creation. And dogs are very welcome throughout.
