Find the perfect dog walk on your journey - Driving with Dogs

Tywyn dog-friendly beach, Wales

Description

Outstanding beach for dogs - and children of all ages, 8 to 80! Miles of glistening golden sands, with a dog restriction for the central section of the beach in summer.  Ideal for games, walks, swimming and a great day out.   The photos here were taken on a hot, sunny day in August - but the beach was still uncrowded!

Details

GPS coords for car park: 52.5839, -4.1006 What3Words: ///luxury.repeat.exotic  Free parking.  Unimaginative fare from the beach-side cafes - chips, chips and chips, otherwise all that you need for a day on the beach.

Walk

The beach stretches for mile upon mile. If you and your dog are up for it, you could walk all the way to Aberdovey.
