Description
Very active park and woodland gardens, ideal for family visits even though the rules demand that dogs are on-lead, even in the woods. There's a shopping village, gardens, lots of activities to get involved in. This is a destination, rather than a stopping off walk.

GPS coords for car park: 52.9495, -2.1964 Entry charge to Gardens and park with family tickets and student discounts available. Online booking recommended. A number of restaurants in the shopping park, and cafes by the lake.
Walk
From the South entrance you'll find a choice of several well-signed walks through the woodland. The free areas are: The Kings Wood, The Monument, The Oaks and The Parkland Walks.
