A handy pitstop off the A515 with a small cafe, easy access walking route, and even bike hire with a dog cart option!
Details
GPS coords for car park: 53.1704, -1.7822 P&D parking. Blueberry cafe with outside seating. Bike hire, including dog transporters to fit on the rear of the bike. Small dogs are more likely to fit the transporters and if you're on holiday and want to make a day of it then booking is recommended for dog transporter and/or accessible bikes.
Walk
With bikes, horses and walkers sharing a leisure route this can get uncomfortably popular in holiday season. But out of season the route is much more relaxing, and fully accessible too. Depending on how far you walk there are points where the trail crosses over roads and dogs will need to be on-lead. From Parsley Hay you can choose between the Tissington Trail or the High Peak Trail. Both are former railway lines and well signed.
