Tegg's Nose dog walks near Macclesfield, Cheshire
Description
An extraordinary country park for a dog walk, created out of the husks of millstone grit quarries. Not ideal if you don't like steepish slopes, but there's plenty to ponder on here and it's great for dogs.

Walk
This is a hilly place, but there are some excellent viewpoints and it's an outstanding place for dog walks. There are plenty of paths to choose from including the circular (2.5 miles) Tegg's Nose Trail. For keener walkers, the "Walk to the Forest" or the Gritstone Trail offers as much exercise as any dog could ask for.
