Walk
Out of the pub and turn left, up the hill. Then take the first access track on the left. Carry on past the house and the footpath heads across moorland on a gentle uphill towards a trig point. On a clear day the views are amazing. Ahead is the Derwent valley, and the reservoir. Derwent Edge is pretty much where you're standing, and Sheffield's to the east. Go back the same way for a walk just under 4 miles. If that's too long, you could stay under the trees and miss the view.
