As well as the swimming, there's a riverside path and plenty of space for wet dogs to hurtle around and dry off.  Note:  there are still a few bits of metal left in the water from the former diving platforms, but you can easily see where they are.   Narrow boats from Stratford come this way too - and in the summer the 'skippers' can often be getting to grips with the steering for the first time so keep an ear out for the sound of a chugging diesel engine and make sure your dog is safely out of the way!   More dog walks from Stratford-upon-Avon and nearby are in our book - Walks in Shakespeare Country.
