Description
Miles of shingle beach, and dogs allowed all year round. The beach has a poignant past as over 1000 allied sevicemen were killed here over a few days by 'friendly-fire' in a rehearsal for the D-Day landings.

GPS coords for car park: 50.2865, -3.6453 This part of the coastline has seen a lot of erosion, and is constantly changing. The P&D car park is right on the beach, and there are beachside cafes, WCs and small shops too. The Queens Arms is dog-friendly (TQ7 2PN)

The shingle beach is a killer on the legs but the sea is great for dogs, Gets deep within metre's so be careful. Bob.
