Sheerness country park dog walk, Kent
Description
Country park with plenty of wildlife interest, lake and marshy swamps. Jem loved it here, and there are lots of people with dogs.
Details
Getting there: the postcode covers a wide area and does not go directly to the coastal park. Be sure to follow the coast road until you see the signed main entrance to Barton's Point Coastal Park. Free parking by the Boat House Cafe. Children's play area. Public WCs
Walk
Paths lead into the park from the parking area, and are easy to follow. The terrain is all so low lying that the park seems smaller than it really is, which is quite a strange effect.
