Saltaire local dog walk, West Yorkshire
Description
Small, but lovely park with fabulously painted bandstand and seats - it's bright and just makes you smile! Lots of dogs there, and you can extend the walk through fields alongside the river Aire from behind the cricket pavilion.

Walk
Around the park, and then extend onto the fields by the Aire. There's a little gate that's easy to find. Note the review below where MrWiggins says that dogs now have to be on-lead in the park.

Roberts Park
Dogs must be on leads at all times in this park. After crossing the bridges over the canal and river turn right at the gate for children’s play area. After walking round the park to the gate at the side of the cricket pavillon continue straight ahead on well made footpath, dogs can be off lead from gate. When you reach the footbridge you can carry straight ahead or go over the bridge. If you decide to cross the footbridge carry on straight ahead on footpath then through wall stile onto canal towpath and turn left to return to Saltaire. If you choose to carry on from first footbridge cross a small footbridge across a stream and go straight ahead, do not turn right to follow track. Go past Bradford Rowing Club and follow path along riverside until you reach a stile through the wall to bring you onto the canal tow path. Turn left and follow all the way back to Saltaire.
