Ruislip Lido dog walk, Greater London
Description
With a beach and extensive woodland surrounding it, this can be canine heaven. Just don't go during the school holidays, or summer weekends when the sun is shining!
The water quality isn't great, and there are vigilante squads of Canada Geese to be aware of.
Details
Entry charge to the Lido. There's a pub, The Waters Edge.

Everything dogs enjoy!
It costs £3 to park for the day. My walk round to the dog’s beach and back again, throwing a ball on fields and in woods, took about 1.5 hours, There is a lovely snack bar but sadly dogs aren’t allowed inside and it was raining so I didn’t stay to eat outside. It’s by a children’s beach with lots of fun things to climb on. Dogs have to be on the lead for the second half of the walk round the lake so we turned round and walked back the way we came along a hard path. It was well worth £3!
