A perfectly placed dog-friendly inn on the banks of the river and a dog walk. The bridge is a real survivor of time and floods, and worth a salute. This little town is in Wales and England is just over the bridge.

Access to the town from the A525 is over the old cobbled bridge. It's one-way, and narrow. Parking behind the pub.

Walk
Turn right out of the pub car park and you are immediately on a footpath following the River Dee. It's ideal for a doggie stroll and the chance to enjoy the aroma of wild flowers. Dogs can get into the river by the bridge for a cooling dip - always check the current strength first.
