Walk
In Helmsley, a lovely footpath was signed to the Abbey. It looked great, nice surface, well signed and all looked good. It didn't long for this to become a footpath going through fields of sheep, with stiles and nothing much going for it. Jem and I had started, so we finished. And all I can say about the experience is: drive to the abbey and forget about the path!
