Pwlldu dog-friendly beach and dog walk, Gower Peninsula, Wales
Description
Secluded little dog friendly bay that's a gorgeous half way point on walks from various points nearby. Stick to the east side of the bay for swimming and avoid the strong currents on the west side. At low tide there's plenty of sand, and pebbles at high tide.

Walk
There are several ways to get to the beach, all making a lovely dog walk too. Jem's favourite is to start just west of Kittle (parking and refreshments) and follow the Bishopston Valley walk for a couple of miles down to the beach. It's an easy to follow path that takes you straight there. A shorter alternative is to park at Pyle, Bishopston and walk south on a narrow lane to join the cliff path to the beach (1.5 miles).
