Prospect Park dog walk, Berkshire
Description
In Reading we have a superb (big) park - it is dog friendly.
Details
GPS coords for car park: 51.4500, -1.0060 1.9m height restriction. The car park is bumpy and uneven. The old mansion house is now a Harvester restaurant and dogs are welcome on the patio outside. Picnic tables. Dog poo bins. Thanks to Phil Lewis for sending this info.
Walk
Reading's largest open parkland and an absolute treat for dogs. The park is accessible to all (there is a hard surfaced path running across it). The facilities were rather run down when we visited but for doggie running around this must be one of the best places in the county. Who would have thought that there would be nearly 120 acres of dashing ground for Fido in the middle of Reading.
