Walk
To get to Portrush Beach, the best thing to do is to drive into Portrush and park in the West Strand car park (BT56 8DY). It is just over 1 mile away and the car park is free but has a 2.1m height restriction. From here, head straight on down to the beach. Despite the restrictions between 1 May and 30 September, it is a really popular beach with local and visiting dogs and is gorgeous on a good day. Dogs, of course, will love it at any time.
