GPS coords for car park: 50.1888, -5.4328 A glorious beach for a hearty stroll to fill the lungs with invigorating ozone. Porthkidney is a sandy beach, with walking space whether the tide is in or out. Parking is troublesome - there are a few berths near the church as shown on the map, and when these are full you've had it. Take sturdy poo bags with you as the bins are infrequent.

Lots of space to stretch the paws here.

Dog friendly all year around, clean clear water- swim even at low tide, brilliant beach. Be a bit careful about current flowing in harbour entrance. You have to walk c1/2mile to the beach, no disabled access!
