Picnic spot and very short dog walk, Northumberland
Description
We're not often baffled by a walk in the forest, but this one had us stumped. We were looking for one of the legendary Rob Roy's caves, but a combination of missing paths and private gardens made for a frustrating moment. But - the car park and small surrounding area is ideal for a picnic and short snuffle with the dog.

Walk
The Bridleway through the forest marked on the OS map proved impossible to find. So we went through the gate and onto a track at the lower end of the car park and made do with that.
