A mill complex now housing a cafe, dog-friendly shop and tourist information. Plus a grassy picnic area with tables and free parking. If you follow the sign behind the shop, you'll see what it means to be 'on tenterhooks'!

GPS coords for car park: 55.2290, -2.1785 What3Words: ///brownish.golf.reclaimed Dogs welcome in the shop, and they have a range of dog beds and dog toys. The shop mainly sells outdoor and country clothing for adults and children, with good discounts.
Walk
The mill is a starting point for a ramble around the village and onto the hills beyond. We found that there were too many sheep for off-lead exercise, and you need to be in wellies (we weren't). The directions are on a board by the picnic area, and then at strategic points along the walk.
