Often overshadowed by its more well-known neighbour, Ilkley, the town of Otley is worth a visit and is handily placed for Leeds pooches getting out of town.   The Chevin Forest is easy to get to and there's free parking in one of the on-site car parks.    It's a bit grumpy of me, but I've long since decided that the single reason for being hatless on Ilkley Moor is because of the compulsion to tear hair out while trying to get a parking space there. Otley is much easier.
