Description
Suburban park with easy access routes throughout. Once farmland, and then neglected wasteland Minet has been massively improved, and is now a welcome open space in the area.
Details
Visitor centre with limited opening times. WCs including disabled with RADAR in the visitor centre.
Car parking opposite the visitor centre.
Walk
There's scope for significant dog sniffing in the park itself, and also the option to extend the route along the canal towpath.
The north end of the park is for cyclists, leaving everywhere else for walkers and their dogs.
