M6 Junction 10 dog walk, West Midlands
PremiumDescription
The paths here meander through a fine mix of woodland, meadow and waterside. The area is evidently a popular spot for local dog walkers, and we didn't see anyone without a dog!

This is a stunning nature reserve. Stunning in itself for the variety it offers, but also stunning because of its proximity to the M6. When you're in the wooded area, the birds occasionally shush and you can hear the hum of the traffic. The bluebells will be out any time soon, carpeting the wooded area beautifully. There's a lovely walk to be had along the canal. Then there's the big field. My dog isn't so bothered unless there are sticks to chase, but this is perfect for "wanging" balls for your pooch to chase after dementedly.
