Description
Generous stately grounds where dogs are welcome and it's usually fairly quiet once you're away from the main car park and facilities. Watch out for some evil speed humps on the way in, even at 5mph. The cafe serves lovely fresh food, much produced in the castle gardens.

Good stop for lunch
Stopped here on the way to Scotland and had lunch. Lots of walks and activities including a wild trail which my 7 year old daughter loved. The postcode on the listing didn't get me to the property so be careful. This is a National Trust property (Sizergh) so use the post code from the national trust website.
