Walk

Circular walk: 45-60 minutes from 2nd car park   When walking on a Beacon it's clear that the walking won't be flat, and that good views are guaranteed.   The first car park seems to be favoured by local dog walkers, and the second one can be taken over by kite enthusiasts making the most of the strong breezes up here.  The terrain is a mixture of woodland and open grassland, and enough space for a good 45 minute walk or longer.   To reach the facilities at the visitor centre, leave either car park and follow the direction indicated on the trails.   Wheelchair users can join the accessible circular track either from the visitor centre, or from the second car park by starting on the wide hard surface track and then turning left or right to complete the circular route.
