Walk
Take the footpath directly opposite the White Swan and cross the large field, walking directly towards the church ahead. Turn right by the church and then bear left onto Church Lane. This now becomes a track and this will lead you around the side of woodland, where the trees are on your left. Half-a-mile on from the church you'll reach a path crossroads. The left path goes towards a housing estate and the two other paths both end up on a road going in the wrong direction for you to create a circular walk. So turn around here and retrace your route back to the church. It is possible here to carry on down Church Lane and turn right at the end to return to the White Swan, otherwise cross the field as before. In wet weather it's a good idea to avoid the field and simply walk up Church Lane (by the village hall).
