M11 Junction 12 dog walk and dog-friendly pub, Cambridgeshire
PremiumDescription
An easy and relaxing dog walk through fields alongside the River Cam. I read somewhere that war poet Rupert Brooke and Virginia Woolf used to skinny dip in the river by moonlight. You can still wild swim with the dog here!

Fabulous Walk
We stopped off here with our two spaniels and spent over an hour walking round the beautiful Granchester Meadows. It was a hot day and the boys took the opportunity for a cooling swim. You can make this walk as short or long as you like.
We found the pub car park was very full but drove along the road a little and found plenty of roadside parking and another entrance to the meadows.
Happy spaniels and happy Mum and Dad.
We will definitely use this stop again
