Description
It would be impossible to guess that Tibshelf Services has immediate access to over 9 miles of countryside walking on the Five Pits Trail. This used to be mining country, but the name of the trail is the only hint of Tibshelf's industrial past. Now it's a delight for walkers, dogs and the occasional horse and rider.

First walk
First review
We travel with our dogs alot so decided to try Driving with Dogs.
We were not disappointed.
What a fabulous walk within minutes of the services.
Directions could have been better but you will not be disappointed.
North bound walk out of services via service road. Turn right and you will see the bridleway sign. Off you go.

What a brilliant place to stop! I don’t think it would be possible to find a better place to stop for a walk, so close to the motorway! Easy to find and within 5 mins you’re on safe and open paths with plenty of space for the dogs to have a good off-lead run! We’ll definitely stop here again!

A n Unexpected Find
Without joining Driving With Dogs we would never have found this walk despite having stopped at Tibshelf many times. The directions are excellent and there is plenty of opportunity to give your dog a good run off lead. Our Cockapoo loved it!
