With more than 200 acres of woodland and formal gardens here, there are many options to choose from, all starting from the central courtyard.   Expect cheery salutations from complete strangers in this  extraordinarily friendly dog-walking environment.  On the day of our visit there was only one family without a canine companion! The former stables block now contains a nice cafe and a few small shops.
