A traditional hotel at the northern end of the Pennine Way. Dogs are welcome, and you'll find plenty to like here. The village green has seen many pairs of worn walking boots and heard tall tales of the challenges along the Way. I remember leaving my knackered boots in a bin here after completing the walk with my first collie, Lucy!
