Gunnersbury Park local dog walk, Greater London
PremiumDescription
This is a great place to give the dog a walk if you're heading into London, where open space with free parking gets harder to find. The parkland here, once the private garden of one of the Rothschilds, is now essentially a sophisticated recreation ground for West Londoners. Look out for celebrity pooches! Very close to the M4 Junction 2.

This has been my local park for 30+ years as I grew up in the area. I have used it for 10+ years now walking my naughty mutt. It's a well maintained and really spacious park and very dog friendly. No areas, other than a smallish golf course, are off limits to our four-legged friends. Parking is ample, albeit sometimes the car park is used by film crews so bits can be sectioned off. It has a kids area and cafeteria where dogs are also welcome ( outside only). All in all a great park in West London and full of nice friendly dogs and owners. Watch out for horrible muddy puddles/areas which my dog just seems to gravitate towards but I suppose that could happen anywhere! Come and see for yourselves!
