Easy access dog walk around a lake on a hard-surface path. Plenty of park benches and picnic tables.
Details
GPS coords for car park: 53.2339, -2.4004 Disabled WC + RADAR. No other public WCs. Picnic tables. The main car park is on the B5082, just east of the Three Greyhounds pub.
Walk
Level surfaced path around the lake, so this is ideal for all levels of mobility. The road feels very close to the path on the far side of the mere. The traffic noise comes mainly from the M6, not the nearby A-road!
