Drummore - Ship Inn and Mariners Cafe, Scotland
Description
A small harbour village very close to the most southerly point of Scotland. You'll probably only come here if you're exploring around the ferry ports before a trip to Ireland, but the dog-friendly Mariner's cafe does a cracking breakfast and the equally dog-friendly pub has a fine traditional sea shanty gang. Quirky and authentic Rhins life and culture.
Details
Parking on the seafront. It's a small harbour village with no car park - just don't block the way to/from the harbour.

Walk
For a quick sniff around before a session of shanty singing in the pub the harbour front is your best option. For a longer walk, Drummore is on the Mull of Galloway Trail and this is signed from Shore Road. We prefer to cut out the road walking and start the walk from a picnic pull-in a mile or so down the road. Or take a hike along the dog-friendly beach at New England Bay just before Drummore itself.
