A walk along the famous River Foyle as well as a fine park. This is a really popular place for dog walkers and there is a hotel to return to for refreshments and overnight stays too.

Walk
From the car park behind the hotel, head along the road for a short distance then bear left to enter Bay Road Park, a local nature reserve. Keep going until the park opens out on your right, then turn right to reach the banks of the River Foyle. This is a great place for dogs to run around and is popular with similar minded hounds. Remember that you are quite close to the sea and the current needs to be treated with respect. Head back to the hotel when your pooch is tired out.
