Dog walk along the River Dee and dog-friendly dining, Cheshire

Premium

Some pub opening times and dog rules are still changing. Please check your chosen pub is able to welcome you before making plans.

Description

A smart roadside country hotel and dining where dogs get a warm welcome. At first the brickwork of the building draws your attention, we thought it was Cheshire Tudorbethan and it's a popular look in this area. The hotel is ideal for a meal out with your mum, or for less formal refreshments at the terrace or garden tables.

See the screenshot of where to turn right to head back to the village. Don't be tempted to continue to the end of that tree lined avenue as that's the Duke's private land with locked gates!

Once back in the village the Grosvenor Arms offers a warm welcome to dogs and humans with great food,
