Dog-friendly beach and dog walk near Mevagissey, Cornwall
Description
Large sand and shale beach and it's dog-friendly all year round. Take a picnic and plenty of water and let the pooch go nuts in the water. The car park is on a narrow lane so if you're in a large vehicle you'll need to breathe in.

GPS coords for car park: 50.2365, -4.7907 Parking: National Trust car park at the top of the hill above Gorran Haven. Take the S W Coast path down the hill to the beach. No facilities. Please take all litter away with you.
Walk
Vault beach is a steep walk down the cliff from the car park on the S.W. coastal path. The beach is large, sandy and dog-friendly. Apparently one end of the beach is a nudist beach in summer.

Lovely big quiet beach but a bit of a trek
The nearest parking is the National Trust "honesty box" car park on Lamledra Hill. From there it's maybe 10-15 minutes or so down hill across some fields (sometimes with stock in so take a lead with you). You join the coast path and then drop down to the beach itself.
It's a big beach made up mostly sand but some shingle bits and I'm told that it a summer haunt for naturists but I've never seen any and I tend to stay away from beaches except early in the day during the height of the holiday season.
With the tide out walking along the beach and throwing a ball for Buster makes it a steady 25 minutes or more each way so a decent leg stretch and whenever we've been there it's very quiet, you'll see an occasional other dog walker or maybe somebody walking the coast patch but it's certainly one of the quietest beaches in the county.
The walk back up is less exciting as it's reasonably steep but the views are good so stopping to catch your breath has it's reward.
