Description
Among the many dog walk options in this former ducal parkland is a well signed River Trail which starts at the main Hall. This is wheelchair and buggy friendly, and runs through woodlands.
This walk is also within 5 miles of M57 Junction 6.

GPS coords for car park: 53.4409, -2.8971 Free parking, WC+disabled, café, children's play areas, Jungle Parc, adventure playground, walled garden, gift shop. Just one dog poo bin in the car park.
Walk
Croxteth Hall is a major tourist attraction for Liverpool , but fortunately the grand seat of the Earl of Sefton sits in over 500 acres of parkland so there is some good walking to be had here too.
There is a well signed River Trail which is a hard surfaced path that starts at the main Hall. This is wheelchair and buggy friendly, and runs through woodlands.
The grounds are laced with paths, and it's a great place to amble around in, with plenty of local dogs enjoying their uptown surroundings.
