Country park dog walk near Wrexham, Wales
PremiumDescription
This country park is on the banks of the River Dee and in the shadow of the Cefn Viaduct. It's a great place to relax and take the dog for a stroll. Dogs need to be kept on leads. There's plenty of sculptures to enjoy as you go, and children who don't want to go walking are able to see and feed some farm animals.

About 2.5 miles from the A483. Large carpark without height barriers. It has well marked routes and paved paths with wide verges. You can deviate through the woods and along the river. Dogs allowed off lead as long as they are under control. I went on a Monday and there were enough people feel safe, but not too many. I saw a vending machine but did not spot a café (probably me!). Very family friendly, with lots of animals in the fields, a play park and football field.
