Clumber Park dog walk and cafe, Nottinghamshire
PremiumDescription
This is an enormous country park and hugely popular with local dog owners. There are a multitude of small paths and fields as well as the formal grounds and lake. It's a fabulous place for a doggiestop from the A1 between Doncaster and Nottingham, and well worth a longer visit if you live in the area.

Green 70 PointsBeautiful stop with the best dog friendly cafe I have ever seen,
We stopped here on the way to Sunderland. The cafe was brilliant and is one of the best dog friendly National Trust cafes we’ve been to. We sat by the lake on deckchairs in the sunshine whilst drinking our coffee and were truly stunned by the beauty of this stop. Hubble enjoyed the walk immensely. Definitely worthwhile for those with National Trust memberships.

Pink 272 PointsAn enormous park with lots to do
Lots of interesting walks and dog friendly so long as they are on a lead. Outside eating area at the main eating place. Fab play area for children and an agility run for dogs, set up for the summer holidays.

Pink 276 PointsGood stop near A1
On the way to Scotland, this was about half way. The overflow car park is dog friendly and they also let dogs into the walled garden, which is unusual. The Dogg friendly cafe had a limited range of food, compared with the main cafe, which was rather a shame, but otherwise a great stop!

Pink 272 PointsA great place to walk
We had a family get together here with kids and dogs. We had a great time in the woods, then walked along the lake. Lots of other families and dogs there.

We regularly take our dogs and home boarders here for day trips away and social events with other dog owners. It has ample parking and many access points, though in snowy conditions (as we found recently), access is restricted if not completely closed.
