Castle O'er dog walk, Scotland

Description

A short but satisfying woodland walk in a fantastic landscape to the site of a hill fort. Don't expect castle ruins, it's an earthworks from an early tribe. Dogs won't care and it is a safe space for them to run off-lead.

Walk

There are marked trails starting from each of the 3 car parks for this Forestry Commission land. We followed the yellow trail, taking in the hill fort. It's a proper bit of uphill with great views over the valley at the top.
