Carnmoney Hill dog walk near Newtownabbey, NI
Description
Ideal dog walking on a hill that's called 'the cairn on a boggy mountain' - because of the tomb with a view at the top. The woodland is maintained and tended by the Woodland Trust, with the help of volunteers.

Walk
There's comfortable strolling here without the need of defined routes, although there are two trails. The woodland walk leads through the trees to a viewpoint to Belfast Lough. The 'Hilltop' walk is a 2 hour there and back route to the top of Carnmoney hill with fantastic views of the city and beyond.
