Broadwell dog-friendly pub and dog walk, Gloucestershire
Description
Popular and busy village 'local' with paths and a village green for a dog to have a bounce and snuffle. The village is just off the Fosse Way (A429). On the day Jem and I visited a bar-full of men made us feel very unwelcome. I thought the days of being stared at for simply being female were long past. Apparently not. But obviously that's a reflection on the customers, and not the hard-working staff.

Walk
The village green is to the right of the pub, and it's a large and generous space with children's play equipment. Thirsty dogs will enjoy turning left from the pub, then immediately go right onto a Bridleway and walk a short beside a gurgling brook. Jem loved this.
