Description
A rocky Yorkshire landmark with trails and visitor facilities.
Details
GPS coords for car park: 54.0766, -1.6825 P&D parking (National Trust members free). Cafe serving hot drinks and snacks. WCs. Dogs must be on leads around the rocks and visitor centre area.
Walk
From the car park, follow the well-worn trail to the cafe and the site of the wierdly shaped rocks.
Most people settle for a quick scamper round the rocks and then a nice cup of tea - but there's much more walking to be had by striking off onto the moorland beyond. There are a number of paths to choose, and it's easy to navigate as the rocks provide a very convenient landmark.
