Bluebell Hill dog walk and dog-friendly pub, Kent
PremiumDescription
A circular walk through woodland where dogs can sniff and chase to their hearts' content. The start point is a popular pub with plenty of space for everyone. This dog walk is very close to the M2 Junction 3. The full walk is too long for a motorway doggiestop, so just do the start of it!

Pleasant woodland
We did this walk on a wind-blown day after 2 days of high winds and much rain. Consequently the first path (going away, see photo) was very muddy and there were two fallen trees across the second path (coming back). If using this walk after rain I recommend either having wellies in the car or just using the second path. I've added a photo of where the second path comes out at the approach road to the car park. Our dog, Tuesday, really loved the walk and we were charmed by the peace and beauty in the depth of winter (early Feb, see photo). The pub was cosy. There was even a small fire in the doggy section which we sat beside. In summer there would be loads of attractive space with a sheltered garden room and two picnic areas, one smoking, one not.
