Description
Very traditional canalside pub, with a friendly welcome for walkers, cyclists, fishermen, dogs and visitors to the area. The Romans had a big impact on life in this area back in their day, and pretty much underneath the pub and car park was a small fort. Later on the industrial age put a canal, railway line and road here.
