Walk
Bakewell is the centre for walks in the White Peak national park, and there are many, many routes starting from the town itself. Ask in the tourist info shop for free leaflets for walks in the town or invest in a walking book and map. Anything by Charles Wildgoose is worth having, Jem thinks.
